AirPrint is a service that allows you to print
What exactly is AirPrint?
Apple AirPrint enables full-color, high-quality printing from iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads directly from within a wide range of Apps available in the Apple App Store.
Your compatible printer must be connected to the same wireless network as your iOS system or Mac machine in order to use AirPrint.
Users can print wirelessly from their Apple devices to AirPrint Compatible Printers linked to a wireless network using AirPrint. Airprint allows you to print from your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad without having to install drivers or customize the printer queue. Simply tap ‘print,’ choose an AirPrint compatible printer, and print! It’s that simple.
What you see is what you get when you print.
You will probably print it with AirPrint and an AirPrint compatible printer if you can open it on your Apple computer. Safari, Mail, Photos, iWork, PDFs in iBooks, and several third-party AirPrint compliant applications are all supported by AirPrint.
A complete list of AirPrint-compatible printers can be found here.
Apps Created by Others
There are also a slew of third-party apps available to allow wireless printing from Apple devices, even to printers that aren’t AirPrint compatible out of the box. Any printer can be able to use the AirPrint features by sharing a printer mounted on an Apple Mac or Windows PC over a wireless network. (On the local computer, you can need to install an additional third-party app.)
*A printer firmware update may be needed for complete AirPrint support, which is available directly from the related manufacturer’s website.
Please take note of this. Although every attempt has been made to ensure that the above information is accurate at the time of publication, Printerland is not responsible for the content of any third-party software recommended on this site, and users use such software at their own risk. Printerland is unable to provide support for Airprint compatible printer software; however, any such assistance should be available from the appropriate manufacturer or developer.
Certified by Mopria
What exactly is Mopria?
Mopria is a simple app that allows you to print from your Android device to any Mopria-certified printer. It allows users to link to any nearby compatible printer without the need for external drivers or applications.
Install the Mopria Print Service App on your computer.
Mopria Print Service is now preinstalled on most Android devices, but if it isn’t, you can get it from Google Play or the Mopria website. The app allows users to customize print settings such as adjusting a document’s color or orientation, choosing double-sided printing, and selecting the appropriate paper size and media format. You can use Mopria to print documents, PDFs, emails, web pages, images, and other material from any app on your mobile device that has a print feature.
What is the mechanism behind it?
1. Go to your application’s print menu and select it.
2. Locate a printer that is close by.
3. Press the print button.
