Description

D-LINK 24-PORT GIGABIT DESKTOP SWITCH WITHOUT MANAGEMENT

The DGS-1024D 24-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Desktop Switch is an inexpensive way for SOHO and small to medium businesses (SMB) to take advantage of Gigabit Ethernet’s improved bandwidth. The DGS-1024D has 24 Gigabit ports, allowing for fast server deployment to meet growing network demands.

D-DGS-1024D Link’s is part of a new line of SOHO/SMB products that use D-Green Link’s Ethernet technology, which includes IEEE802.3az EEE and EEE+ modes to conserve energy and prolong product life without compromising operating efficiency or functionality. IEEE802.3az EEE is a power-saving feature that decreases the amount of energy consumed by the switch when it is not in use. EEE+ is a similar power-saving feature to IEEE802.3az EEE. Unlike EEE, however, EEE+ will operate regardless of whether or not the switch’s connection partner is EEE-compliant. This move is genuinely environmentally friendly, thanks to recyclable packaging and limited use of hazardous substances (RoHS compliant).

Energy is saved.

The DGS-1024D lets you save energy automatically through many methods by building on the basis of D-Green Link’s Ethernet technology. It automatically shuts down ports that aren’t connected, allowing the switch to save a lot of energy by minimizing power consumption for unused ports or ports connected to computers that have been switched off. It can also monitor the lengths of connected cables and change power consumption accordingly, allowing you to save energy while preserving network performance. This decreases your electricity bill and reduces your power consumption.

Pleasant to the Atmosphere

The DGS-1024D was developed with the environment in mind, adhering to RoHS guidelines to reduce the use of hazardous materials. It adheres to the WEEE directive and uses recyclable packaging to help minimize waste.

QoS in IEEE 802.1p

Even during bursts of heavy data traffic, QoS prioritizes network traffic to ensure that time-sensitive data is transmitted efficiently. This ensures that streaming media, VoIP calls, and online gaming run smoothly.

Role of Cable Diagnosis

The D-Link Cable Diagnostics Feature helps users to easily identify cable conditions using the front-panel LEDs. Users can verify if their cables’ connector pin connections are right, making network troubleshooting easier.
